Bocean Studios has been owned and operated by Trent Boeschen since 2004. Located in a home in the beautiful hills of San Rafael, CA, the recording studio provides acoustic musicians and song-writers with a comfortable atmosphere to immortalize their work.

With the advent of digital recording technologies there has been a swelling number of “recording studios” popping up all over the world. How does Bocean Studios compete with them? By focusing on providing the best service to acoustic musicians at the most affordable rates. The selection of microphones, preamps and other equipment in the studio is geared towards un-amplified and non-electronic instruments.
